The last few weeks have been full of exciting days on the mountain. From Santa’s visit on the slopes to the opening of two terrain parks (with 20 features!), we’ve been working hard and having fun doing it!
With snow in the forecast, our snowmakers are taking advantage of cooler night temperatures to make as much snow as possible! We’re anticipating a couple inches of Mother Nature’s best, which will give our crews a leg up to open new terrain.
Another exciting addition has been the acquisition of a booster pump, which provides water pressure above our existing snowmaking system and allows us to make snow on the Upper Ridge. This reduces the time it takes for cat operators to push snow to the very top of the trail!
Along with Upper Ridge, we’re making snow along Humphreys, Route 66, and Agassiz Trail. Keep checking our snow report for the most updated information, trail openings, and weather conditions.
