First Snow at Arizona Snowbowl — Ski for Just $9 This Winter

Snow covered Agassiz Peak during fall 2026

Winter just gave us its first preview!

On September 29, 2026, just one week into fall, the first official snowfall of the 2026/27 season touched down at Arizona Snowbowl, leaving 2 inches of fresh snow on the mountain overnight.

Seeing white on the peaks again can only mean one thing: winter is getting closer!

With our scheduled November 20 opening day on the horizon, we’re officially counting down the days until skis and snowboards are back on the mountain.

Ski Snowbowl for Just $9 This Winter

The snow isn’t the only reason to get excited.

2026/27 winter lift tickets are officially on sale, and you can ski Snowbowl for just $9 on select dates this season while supplies last.

And those $9 ski days come with an even better deal.

Get Paid to Ski

Every $9 lift ticket comes with $10 in Snowbowl Cash to spend around the resort on food, drinks, and retail during your visit.

That means you can grab a $9 lift ticket and get $10 back to spend while you’re here.

Plus, on those same select dates, you can score rentals and lessons for just $10 each, making it easier than ever to get on the mountain, bring a friend, or try skiing and riding for the first time.

With the first snow already behind us and winter getting closer by the day, there’s plenty to get stoked about this season.

Winter has officially made its first appearance. Now it’s time to start planning yours!
