Brandon Thom Appointed General Manager, Dale Haglin Promoted to Chief Operating Officer
As we gear up for another winter season, we’re excited to introduce the team steering the mountain forward — and to thank you, our guests and passholders, for being part of the Snowbowl family.
Meet Brandon Thom, General Manager
Brandon Thom joins Arizona Snowbowl as General Manager, bringing more than 15 years of experience leading hospitality, recreation, and attractions operations. He’ll oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on guest experience and employee engagement — the things that make a day on the mountain feel right, from the moment you park to the last run down.
Brandon has quickly fallen for Flagstaff and is looking forward to getting involved in the community he now calls home.
Meet Dale Haglin, Chief Operating Officer
After four decades shaping this mountain, Dale Haglin has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Dale’s Snowbowl story started as a sawyer while he was a student at Northern Arizona University, and it’s grown into a career that includes several years as Mountain Operations Director. In his new role, he’ll lead long-term operational planning and major capital projects — the big-picture work that keeps Snowbowl growing the right way.
Together, Brandon’s guest-focused leadership and Dale’s decades of mountain know-how give Snowbowl a strong foundation heading into the seasons ahead.
A Season of Investment
This leadership announcement comes alongside more than $1 million in investments for the 2026–27 season, including:
- Forest health work across the mountain
- A new conveyor lift for beginner skiers and snowboarders
- Snowmaking upgrades
