Power Access Card

Power Access Card: A New Way to Access Your Mountain
The Power Access Card is a reusable RFID card that gives you hands-free access to Snowbowl.
It isn’t a season pass or a lift ticket. It’s an access card linked to your guest record.
Print yours in seconds at a kiosk on the mountain, using the QR code in your pickup email.
What Is the Power Access Card?
Think of it as your key to the mountain. It’s linked to you, not to any one pass or ticket.
It uses RFID, so it stays in your pocket while our lift team scans it hands-free.
Your card is for you only. If it’s lost, contact Guest Services right away. A replacement card is $5. Gift cards and wallet balances linked to your record may be at risk if someone else has your card.
One Card for Everything You Buy

One card holds it all. Multi-day pass? $9 lift tickets? Same card for all of it.
Next summer, that same card works for summer activities. The season after, use it for a lift ticket or a new season pass.
Season Passholders
- Watch your inbox. When your mountain’s kiosk is ready, we’ll email you a QR code and simple instructions.
- One email per passholder. For this first rollout, everyone with a pass gets their own email and QR code.
- Print at any U.S. Power Pass mountain kiosk.
- Nothing in the mail. No cards are mailed this season. Pickup is a quick, one-time stop.
Lift Ticket Guests
Same easy process: we email you a QR code.
Scan it at a kiosk at the mountain your ticket is for, and your card prints in seconds.
How to Print Your Card at a Kiosk

- Open your pickup email and have your QR code ready.
- Scan it at the kiosk.
- Your card prints in seconds. Scan each QR code to print each person’s card.
- Pocket it and go.
Opening weekend is always a busy one, so give yourself a few extra minutes on your first day.

At the Lift: Hands-Free Access
Keep your card in your pocket and walk on up. Our lift team scans it hands-free, with no digging through layers in your gloves.
For the cleanest read, keep your card and your phone in separate pockets.
Keep It and Reuse It
Hang on to your card when the season wraps. It’s built to reuse for whatever you buy next: lift tickets, summer activities, or a new season pass.

New This Winter
You’ll need a new Power Access Card this winter. Cards from last winter won’t work at the lifts. Pick one up free at a kiosk (or Guest Services) after you buy, then keep using that same card for years.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Power Access Card?
The Power Access Card is a reusable RFID card that gives you hands-free access to your Mountain. It is an access card linked to your guest record, not to any single product, so the lift tickets, season pass or summer activities you buy all live on the same card.
Is the Power Access Card my season pass?
No. The Power Access Card is not a season pass and it is not a lift ticket. It’s an access card linked to your guest record. Your season pass, your lift tickets and any other products you buy are connected to that record, and your card is how you access them at the mountain.
Can I use one card for more than one product?
Yes. One card holds everything. For example, if you have a 4-day pass and also buy $9 lift tickets, you use the same Power Access Card for all of it. You can use that same card next summer for summer activities, or for a lift ticket the following season.
Can I reuse it?
Yes. Hang on to your card. It is built to be reused in the future for any new product you buy: lift tickets, summer activities or a new season pass.
How do passholders get their card?
Watch your inbox. When the kiosk at your mountain is ready, we’ll email you a QR code and simple instructions. For this first rollout, every passholder receives their own separate email with their own QR code, so if you have several passholders in your family, look for one email per person. Cards are not mailed.
How do I print it?
Bring your pickup email to a kiosk and scan your QR code. Passholders can use a kiosk at any U.S. Power Pass mountain; lift ticket guests use a kiosk at the mountain their ticket is for. Your card prints in seconds. Pickup is a one-time stop.
I bought passes for my whole family. Does one scan print every card?
Not for this first rollout. Each passholder gets their own email with their own QR code, so scan each QR code to print each card. Going forward, when you make a new purchase, all the cards in that purchase print together.
Will my card come in the mail?
No. This season, passholders pick up their card once at a mountain kiosk. No waiting on the mailbox.
Where are the kiosks?
Kiosks are at U.S. Power Pass mountains and come online mountain by mountain ahead of each opening day. At Snowbowl, kiosks are coming soon to Basecamp and Fort Valley Lodge, and will be at Fort Valley Lodge, Hart Prairie Lodge and Agassiz Lodge starting opening day.
Can I pick up my card at a different mountain?
Passholders can pick up their card at a kiosk at any U.S. Power Pass mountain. Lift ticket guests pick up at the mountain their ticket is for.
When will the kiosk at my mountain be ready?
Kiosks are going live mountain by mountain, ahead of each opening day. We’ll email you when the kiosk at your mountain is ready.
How do lift ticket guests get a Power Access Card?
The same way as passholders: we email you a QR code. Scan it at a kiosk at the mountain your ticket is for, and your card prints in seconds.
How do I use the card at the lift?
Keep your card in your pocket. Our lift team scans it hands-free, so there’s no digging through layers with your gloves on. For the cleanest read, keep your card and your phone in separate pockets.
What if I lose it?
If you lose your card, contact guest services at a Power Pass mountain immediately. A replacement card costs $5. Gift cards, wallet balances, and other information linked to your guest record may be accessible to someone else if your card is misplaced.
Can someone else use my card?
No. Your card is linked to your guest record and is for you only. It is non-transferable.
