Starting August 11, Snowbowl will offer scenic chairlift rides daily on the Grand Canyon Express lift. Scenic gondola rides on the Arizona Gondola are temporarily unavailable as we work to resolve a mechanical issue with the lift, and we intend to have the gondola running again as soon as possible. This afternoon, the U.S. Forest Service announced the full closure of Coconino National Forest beginning on Wednesday June 23 due to fire danger, dry conditions, and persistent wildfire activity. Because Arizona Snowbowl is located entirely within the Coconino National Forest, Snowbowl will temporarily close for summer operations at the end of Tuesday June 22 until further notice.
