Snowmaking Has Begun!
As of Thursday, October 16, snowmaking has officially begun on the upper mountain!
If you spotted some white up top this morning – your eyes weren’t deceiving you. Our snowmaking team was up early, ascending the mountain and firing up the snow guns for the first time this season. Now more than ever, winter has never felt closer!
With snowmaking officially underway, we’re watching temps closely as we work to build a solid base across the mountain before those first winter storms roll in.
And thanks to our new snowmaking enhancements near the Humphrey’s Peak Chairlift, much of our beginner and intermediate terrain will be able to open earlier, stay in great shape all season long, and close later!
