10 Days To Our Scheduled Opening!

We’re counting down the last few days before the 2019-2020 season is scheduled to kick off at Snowbowl!

On Friday November 22, we’re planning to open the Grand Canyon Express high-speed chairlift, accessing four intermediate trails (Midway Catwalk, Logjam, Wild Turkey, and Round Up) plus select terrain park features. The Little Spruce conveyor lift is also planned to be open, offering access to beginner terrain. Opening plans are weather dependent, so please check our Snow Report page for the latest updates on opening day!

This long-standing program has introduced and sharpened the ski and snowboard skills of hundreds of kids every season – and I’m really excited Snowburners is now available at our sister ski area, Snowbowl.

Summer Activities are in Full Swing!

The 2018-2019 winter season has officially come to a close, and what an incredible season it has been. Although warm weather means melting snow, it also means summer at Arizona Snowbowl is here! Good food, great company, and high-altitude adventures await you and yours on the mountain this summer.

We can easily say that you all are truly super heroes. Here at Arizona Snowbowl, mothers hold a special place in our hearts. We love offering you the chance to come out to the slopes and act like a kid again.  We also thank you for giving your children the chance to experience snow and snowsports with us. We absolutely love seeing all of the tater tots on our mountain, and the family connection that skiing and riding can bring.

Longest. Season. Ever.

It’s gonna be May.

We’re officially one month into the spring season, but Mother Nature is still showing us that winter is here! After a record-breaking March with a 30% increase in skier visits compared to the prior season, we are excited to announce we’re extending our season into May. Snowbowl plans to operate April 26-28 and May 3-5 from 10am to 4pm, although a closing date has not yet been announced.
