Arizona Snowbowl is hosting a fundraiser to help support those affected by the floods and recent monsoon activity in Flagstaff. Donations will be accepted on-site at the event and online.

Update – 06.25.22

We couldn’t be more thankful for the recent rain and according to the forecast more is on the way! 

Although Snowbowl will remain temporarily closed at this time, we are looking forward to welcoming you back as soon as conditions permit. Thank you to all the firefighters and first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect our forests and community. We look forward to seeing you all soon!

Red Flag Warning Issued

Due to the recently issued red flag warning from NOAA in conjunction with the Stage 2 fire restriction implemented by the Coconino National Forest Service, and further evaluation of current and forecasted weather conditions, Snowbowl will not be operating the Scenic Gondola tomorrow, May 29, 2022. The current red flag warning issued by NOAA will remain in effect through Sunday, May 29 8:00 PM MST. Agassiz Lodge Restaurant, 9500′ Bar, and Agassiz Sport Shop will remain open from 10 AM – 4 PM.

It’s been an incredible winter season and our closing date is quickly approaching but there’s still plenty of fun to be had up on the slopes! Join us for an après ski party on the Agassiz Lodge Deck from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM on May 1, 2022!

We’re Extending Our Season!

Shred into the month of May at Snowbowl! 


Snowbowl is excited to announce that we are extending our winter season through May 1st, 2022! The resort will be open Thursday – Sunday, through April 24th and then we will close out the season with two final days to shred on April 30th and May 1st, 10 AM-4 PM.

Snowbowl has teamed up with Flagstaff Shelter Services and we have donated $12,500 from this date to support Flagstaff Shelter Services. Flagstaff Shelter Services is the largest emergency shelter in Northern Arizona and provides critical services to the most vulnerable members of our community and assists them in finding permanent housing.

Deep Powder Has Arrived!

Snowbowl received 13 inches of fresh snow in the last 24 hours bringing our 7 day total to 44 inches! Even more snow is expected throughout the week and there’s no better way to ring in the new year with deep turns and powder laps! Check out our favorite photos from today below. 


Winter Storm Recovery

Snow has officially arrived and our winter storm recovery operations are underway.

Over the last week, Arizona Snowbowl welcomed 31 inches of fresh powder. Our team has been working hard alongside the storm to open 68% of the mountain along with all chairlifts. The recent snowfall also brought unexpected high winds, cold temperatures, and the perfect atmospheric conditions for rime ice.
