Arizona Snowbowl in Summer
Update – 06.25.22

We couldn’t be more thankful for the recent rain and according to the forecast more is on the way! 

Although Snowbowl will remain temporarily closed at this time, we are looking forward to welcoming you back as soon as conditions permit. Thank you to all the firefighters and first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect our forests and community. We look forward to seeing you all soon!

 

Update – 06.20.22

With rain in the forecast, we remain hopeful that we will be able to open for summer activities soon. At this time, however, due to the critical fire danger in the area, we will remain temporarily closed until further notice.

Update – 06.20.22

Snowbowl will remain temporarily closed until further notice. We will continue to provide further updates as gathered.

The current Pipeline Fire is not considered a direct to Snowbowl, however, we will continue to monitor its activity along with all firefighting operations closely. The closure is for precautionary purposes only and our thoughts go out to all the firefighters, first responders, and community involved with the Pipeline fire.

Update – 06.17.22

The weather has grown favorable, allowing additional ground and air resources to take vigilant action against the wildland fires. Please visit https://www.fs.usda.gov/coconino for further information on the wildland fires.

We look forward to welcoming you back when the time is right. In the meantime, we are truly grateful for our firefighters and first responders who are working around the clock to safeguard our forests and community. Our sympathies go out to our Flagstaff neighbors and all those throughout Arizona affected by recent wildfires.

Snowbowl will remain temporarily closed until further notice due to the forest closure issued by the Coconino National Forest Service. The current Pipeline Fire is not considered a direct to Snowbowl, however, we will continue to monitor its activity along with all firefighting operations closely. The closure is for precautionary purposes only and our thoughts go out to all the firefighters, first responders, and community involved with the Pipeline fire.

Due to the Pipeline Fire outside of Flagstaff, Snowbowl has temporarily closed all its summer operations along with Snowbowl Road and to access the ski area.

The closure is for precautionary purposes only and there is no threat to the ski area. At this time, it is uncertain how long the closure will last. We will continue to keep you updated with any further information as it comes available.
