We’ve got BIG news to share! After a 20+ year closure, the Fort Valley Lodge located at the base of Snowbowl Road has been renovated and has reopened to the public!
Saturday, December 23, 2023 marked the official reopening of Fort Valley Lodge offering a refreshed look & essential services for guests of Snowbowl and Northern Arizona to enjoy.
Our goal in renovating & reopening the Fort Valley Lodge is to provide a space for guests visiting Snowbowl or simply passing by, to receive information about Snowbowl and other Northern Arizona attractions, get assistance with their reservations to Snowbowl, stay warm while waiting for Snowbowl’s FREE shuttle service, and overall, act as a place in which guests feel welcomed.
Inside Fort Valley Lodge, guests will find newly renovated restrooms, a grab-and-go snack market, and retail items available for sale.
Along with newly renovated spaces, we have also implemented a brand new virtual queuing system for the FREE shuttle service which allows guests to join the queue and receive text alerts regarding their position in line & estimated wait time. The FREE shuttle service and the virtual queuing system will be available on days in which chains or 4WD are required on Snowbowl Road or when parking lots are full on the mountain.
Fort Valley Lodge is now open daily from 9 AM – 5 PM until the end of the 2023/2024 winter season. Visitors of Snowbowl and Northern Arizona are encouraged to stop by the newly renovated Fort Valley Lodge during operating hours and enjoy the new and improved amenities!
