Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Join us for yoga on the Sky Bar Deck at Agassiz Lodge from 10 AM – 11 AM on September 30th! This all levels Vinyasa flow style class does not require pre-registration and is open to all ages! Donations are welcome and valued. Donations will go to the teacher to cover class expenses.

The class will begin with a warm up series and sun salutations emphasizing the importance of breath with movement. Throughout the class a variety of poses will be offered with the opportunities for advancements, modifications, or variations. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or stepping into a yoga class for the first time, there will be a satisfying and appropriate path for all levels. Classes typically end in Savasana, where a short guided meditation or breath-work will be offered. 

Yoga mats will not be provided. Please bring your own.

About the Instructor: Alex Benson

Alex moved to Flagstaff in 2010 to attend Northern Arizona University. She received her 200 hour RYT certification in November 2021 at Northern Arizona Yoga Center through Vertical Soul Yoga! She now works as a NAU FIT instructor and teaches at Northern Arizona Yoga Center. Her Vinyasa Flow classes aim to strengthen the body and mind through intentional movement, breathwork, and meditation. Her goal is for students to leave each class with a greater understanding of themselves by experiencing the integration of the mind, body, and soul.
