Where to Park

Welcome to summer at Snowbowl! With incredible views on the scenic gondola, relaxed mountain dining, and fun summer activities for the whole family, you’ll want to stop and stay for a while. In summer, our base area looks different than in winter – follow this guide to learn more about where to go when you arrive.

For Scenic Gondola and Summer Activities

Agassiz Lodge is the main hub during the summer. Upon arrival, please proceed past the pedestrian bridge and continue driving up Snowbowl Road for a 1/2 mile. For Weddings

Hart Prairie Lodge and Fremont Restaurant host weddings and private events during the summer and fall, and guests attending these events will be told where to park depending on group size. These lodges are not open to the public in summer.

Please note: there is no parking on Snowbowl Road.

Hikers and Overnight Parking

For hikers, lot 1 offers access to the Humphreys and Aspen Loop trails. Lot 3 offers access to the Kachina Trail. Hikers are advised to park at these two lots, especially if hiking towards the late afternoon or camping overnight. Snowbowl’s entry gate is locked after businesses hours and you may lose access to your vehicle until the next day if you are parked within the gate at the end of the day.

Per USFS regulation, overnight parking is permitted for guests seeking to hike and camp in the wilderness outside the ski area boundaries. All overnight camping guests must park in lots below the Snowbowl’s entry gate. No overnight camping is permitted in Snowbowl’s parking lots.
