February Recap: Nearly 4 Feet of Snow Fell This Month!

February delivered in a big way at Arizona Snowbowl!

Two powerful winter storms rolled through Flagstaff this month, stacking up 46 inches of fresh snowfall in less than a week on the mountain and setting the stage for some of the best conditions of the season.

  • 💘 15 inches on Valentine’s Day (February 14)
  • ❄️ 31 inches from the second storm, wrapping up February 20

That’s nearly four feet of snow in just six days – and now it’s time for the reward.

Bluebird Conditions Are Here!

The storms have cleared, the skies are bright, and we’re now enjoying those classic Arizona bluebird ski days – fresh snow, soft turns, and sunshine overhead.

With natural snowfall refreshing the mountain, coverage is strong across all elevations, creating smooth corduroy mornings and soft, sun kissed afternoons.

Right now, 74% of trails are open – serviced by 100% of our lifts, operating daily from 9 AM to 4 PM (weather permitting).

That means terrain for every ability level:

February Set the Stage – March Goes Even Deeper

With this much natural snowfall heading into late season, conditions are primed for an incredible stretch ahead. Historically, March is Arizona Snowbowl’s snowiest month – and we’re already building a deep base.
