Family Fridays are all about skiing & riding, unbeatable afternoon value, and family-oriented fun on the Southwest’s largest beginner terrain – right here at Arizona Snowbowl!
If you’ve been waiting for the perfect way to get your kiddos skiing or riding, Family Fridays are for you – and they’re happening every Friday afternoon, starting January 9, 2026!
Lift Tickets & Rentals as Low as $20
With Family Friday tickets and rentals as low as $20, getting on the mountain has never been easier or more affordable. Family Friday rentals also include helmets, so you’ll be fully geared up and ready to go.
Family Friday tickets are valid from 2 – 5 PM, making it the perfect after-school or after-work adventure to kick off your weekend.
To purchase your Family Friday ticket or rentals, simply choose your desired Friday through March 27 in the ticket calendar, and select “Family Friday Lift Ticket”!
FREE Tips & Tricks Lessons
Learning is part of the fun!
With a Family Friday lift ticket, guests can enjoy FREE Tips & Tricks lessons, a great way for any rider to build confidence and sharpen their skills on the snow.
Pre-registration is required online for Tips & Tricks, and each Family Friday ticket comes included with it!
Ski Till 5 PM on Beginner Terrain
Family Fridays mean keeping the fun going an extra hour!
Every Family Friday, five beginner-friendly lifts stay open until 5 PM, weather permitting! That’s one full hour later than normal operations!

- Big Spruce Conveyor
- Little Spruce Conveyor
Guests with a regular, full-day lift ticket or season pass can enjoy these lifts until 5 PM as well!
Cocoa, Cookies & Cozy Lodge Vibes
Warm up before or after your laps with FREE cookies and hot cocoa on the Hart Prairie pavers from 3 PM, and grab dinner or snacks inside he Hart Prairie Lodge, which will be open until 5 PM for food and beverage service!
When Are Family Fridays?
Family Fridays run every Friday from January 9 through March 27, 2026 from 2 – 5 PM at the Hart Prairie base area, weather permitting. That’s weeks of affordable turns, extra smiles, and unforgettable family memories.
