Agassiz Lift Reopens on Sunday 3/8

Dear Snowbowl Guests and Family,

The moment is finally here. The ring gear has been installed, all the parts have been put back together, and Agassiz lift is officially spinning again! Our team has worked diligently across countless hours to repair Agassiz lift as quickly as possible and we are truly thankful for all their efforts.

The safety of all guests remains the number one priority for us, and there are still more tests to be done before the lift will be back in service. Pending all inspections, Agassiz lift will reopen to the public at 9am on Sunday March 8, weather permitting.

We invite you to join us for Agassiz lift’s reopening and to celebrate its 34 years of service as the workhorse of Snowbowl. As we bid farewell to the current Agassiz lift at the end of this winter season, we’ll also be welcoming Snowbowl’s newest high-speed lift in its place for the 20-21 season. To learn more about the new lift, visit snowbowl.ski/agassiz.

We thank you for your patience as we worked through a challenging repair process, and we look forward to celebrating both the history and the future of Snowbowl with you on Agassiz lift.

Respectfully,
Rob Linde, General Manager
