October is here, and winter is getting closer by the day! As of October 1, we’re officially 50 days out from our scheduled opening day for the 2026/27 winter season – November 20, 2026!
And winter has already given us a little preview. On September 29, 2 inches of snow touched down at the top of the mountain, marking our first official snowfall of the season.
Now, there’s an even better reason to start planning your winter days: 2026/27 lift tickets are on sale, and you can ski Snowbowl for just $9!
Ski for $9 This Winter
Yep, you read that right. $9 lift tickets are available on many days this season while supplies last, giving you plenty of opportunities to plan ahead and score an incredible deal on a day at Snowbowl.
And the deal gets even better.
Every $9 lift ticket bought online and in advance comes with $10 in Snowbowl Cash to spend on food, drinks, and retail around the resort during your visit. Plus, on $9 ticket days, you can add rentals or lessons for just $10 each.
That means more skiing, more riding, and more reasons to get your winter plans on the calendar now.
50 Days and Counting
With our first snow already on the ground, El Niño in the forecast, and crews across the mountain getting ready for winter, the countdown is officially on.
50 days. November 20. Scheduled opening day.
Grab your gear, rally your crew, and start planning your days on the mountain. Winter will be here before we know it!
