Their efforts were a huge success: we’re opening our first black run of the season today! Upper Ridge has been our target for several weeks now and last weekend’s snow was the icing on the cake. Expert skiers will love the steeper grade and more challenging terrain!

Not only was Upper Ridge able to open this week, but Lava and Meadows opened as well. These new runs will transform the daily experience at Snowbowl, opening up more terrain to enjoy.

Along with Lava and Meadows, we’ve added three new features to the Daydreamer Terrain Park. Plus, we’ve left Volcano and Lava ungroomed and they’re shaping up into excellent mogul runs!

Now that Mother Nature has provided us with 27 inches in January, we expect to keep opening more terrain as the weeks pass. Keep doing your snow dance!
