It’s Scenic Chairlift Season
The 2018-2019 winter season has officially come to a close, and what an incredible season it has been. Although warm weather means melting snow, it also means summer at Arizona Snowbowl is here! Good food, great company, and high-altitude adventures await you and yours on the mountain this summer.
With cooler temperatures averaging approximately 75-80 degrees every day, Flagstaff is a hotspot for Phoenicians to escape the sweltering temperatures of the valley. Only a short drive away from the city, Snowbowl boasts plenty of activities for all ages in summer. Maybe hiking the tallest peak in Arizona has been on your bucket list, or maybe you just want to come up for a picnic and some disc golf. Above all, the scenic chairlift is the star of the summer activities at Snowbowl and can’t be missed.
Not only does the lift soar you up to the western side of the San Francisco Peaks, but it also offers some of the absolute best views of Northern Arizona! From the top of the lift (located at about 11,500 feet in elevation) take in the views of the largest ponderosa forest in the world, the red rocks of Sedona, the cinder cones of the San Francisco volcanic field, and of course, the walls of the ever spectacular Grand Canyon. The chairlift also offers great opportunities for spotting wildlife, photography, and bonding with family and friends. Don’t miss out on an adventure for all ages this summer!
