Escape the heat of the southwest and enjoy the coolest place to be in Arizona this summer!
Arizona Snowbowl has officially kicked off summer with daily scenic chairlift rides plus other fun events.
Experience the dramatic scenery of northern Arizona from Snowbowl’s scenic chairlift. View wildlife, the picturesque pine forest, and miles of the Grand Canyon’s north rim. The scenic chairlift operates daily from 10am to 4pm through Labor Day. For lift ticket pricing, visit the Arizona Snowbowl website.
Each summer, Snowbowl partners with the U.S. Forest Service to provide interesting information on Arizona’s unique environment and geology, including the significance of the San Francisco Volcanic field from expert Forest Service Rangers at the top of the chairlift.
At the base area, enjoy a tasty lunch or snacks while hanging out on the deck. Starting June 9, listen to live music Friday afternoons with the Sunset Music Series from 2 to 5pm on the deck at the Agassiz Lodge. Free tacos are available with purchase of your full-price chairlift ticket!
Other signature events include the Climb for Cancer on Aug. 19, Northern Arizona University Wine & Dine on Aug. 20, and the Sky Race on Oct. 6 and 7. Learn more here.
Summer packages and discounted scenic chairlift tickets are available online and at participating retailers. Spend the day at Snowbowl enjoying the views and receive a $10 gift card for food, drinks, or retail when an adult Scenic Chairlift ticket is purchased online 24-hours in advance. You’ll also find an opportunity to save up to $5 on tickets for any age group. But remember—children under 5 always ride for free! And those who have a birthday this summer can receive a free chairlift ride on their special day.
