Facilities Maintenance Technician – Full-Time, Year-Round
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all facilities on the mountain while sustaining a safe work environment. Two years of facilities maintenance experience is preferred with knowledge in electrical, construction, and plumbing. A current driver’s license and safe driving record are required. Lift Mechanic – Full-time, Year-Round
The Lift Mechanic will inspect and maintain ski lifts to ensure that they are mechanically and operationally sound for guests. The mechanic will work in a small team to diagnose and remedy problems as they arise. Experience and knowledge of ski lifts, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems is preferred. JOB APPLICATION
Vehicle Mechanic – Full-time, Year-Round
The small engine mechanic will focus primarily on our smaller vehicles/equipment including but not limited to snowmobiles, quads, passenger vehicles, chainsaws, etc. Required experience: hydraulic, electrical, cooling, lubrication, and power systems on a variety of equipment with a focus on small engines, chainsaws, and passenger vehicles. Heavy Equipment Operator
Heavy Equipment Operators will need to be able to operate various types of equipment including loaders, dozers, and excavators. Equipment Operators must have a mindset towards safety and good decision making.
Cooks have basic cooking knowledge and have excellent prep skills. Cooks will do everything from flipping burgers and preparing deli sandwiches to serving and washing dishes. They are responsible for keeping the kitchen clean. We are also looking for an experienced cook to help lead the kitchen at Ski Lift Lodge.
A Server must possess a friendly demeanor with a bias for customer service. Servers will seat guests, take orders and put orders in and serve food. Must also help keep the lodge clean by bussing tables.
This housekeeping position is with Ski Lift Lodge at the bottom of Snowbowl Road. The housekeeper will clean lodge rooms and get them ready for the next guest to check in. Housekeepers work in a small team to change bedding, vacuum and make sure everything is ready. The need right now is primarily during the week.
Front Desk Attendant
A Front Desk Clerk will check people in and out of the Cabins at Ski Lift Lodge, make lodging reservations, and assist with restaurant takeout orders. They will reconfirm guest reservations prior to their arrival and check rooms to ensure cleanliness and no maintenance is necessary prior to guest arrival. Must be a friendly outgoing person with excellent multitasking skills.
Lift Operator/Ticket checkers assist passengers on and off lifts, operate and understand all lift controls, safety circuits, telephones, etc., They also check and validate all passenger’s tickets and passes, provide assistance to guests, inform and encourage guests and continually monitor and maintain ramps and surrounding area, with a smile and in a safe manner. In the summer, having a WFR or EMT certification is a plus.
The Guest Service Associate responsibilities include issuance of special program and promotion tickets, groups (from booking to arrival), lost and found items, answering questions, resolving complaints, directing traffic and any other issues that may come up.
The purpose of the Trail Technician is to maintain existing ski runs through the removal of trees, tree limbs, and stumps, rocks, vegetation, and other debris. This is a physically demanding position that will be working outside.
Snowbowl has a large number of outdoor activities in the summer such as summer tubing, bungee trampoline, and a mini ropes course. The Activities Attendant will be responsible for facilitating all of these areas and creating a fun environment for our guests. Attendants must be great with customers and have a safety mindset.
The Arizona Snowbowl Interpreter is responsible for providing interpretive education about the geology, archeology, and other historical aspects of the San Francisco Peaks and surrounding areas to guests. This position is Monday-Thursday and would be located at the top of the Agassiz lift.

If you have never worked at Arizona Snowbowl or if it has been over 3 years, then yes, please fill out an application. I saw that your staff get free season passes, what happens if I already bought one?
We will be reimbursing passes near the end of the season for employees that have already purchased passes before being hired. The amount that you are reimbursed will depend on how long you were employed with us during the winter season.
Are there ways I can volunteer at Snowbowl?
Yes, we have 3 ways you can volunteer. First, the ski patrol department has the courtesy patrol to help and support if there is an incident or you can volunteer through National Ski Patrol. The second area that you can volunteer is as a part of our guest service department as a mountain host. Our mountain hosts are very cheerful, friendly, and helpful and are ready to help our guests if they have questions. The third program you can volunteer through is our adaptive ski program to help those with physical and mental disabilities enjoy getting on the mountain.
